The third stage of the AJ Bell Womens Tour of Britain started and finished in the Warwickshire town of Atherstone. It was the first individual time trial in the history of the event and was competed for over a 10.3 mile (16.6km) route in the countryside to the south of the town.

78 riders took part in the stage which was won by Demi Vollering (Ned) of Team SD Worx in a time of 23 minutes and 18 seconds. The lead was briefly held by British rider Joss Lowden (Drops-le Col s/b Tempur) who was competing only six days after setting the new one hour record of 48.405km in Switzerland. Joss ultimately finished 1 minute and 4 seconds behind Demi Vollering.
